We’ve got independent booksellers, fashion boutiques, old-mill-buildings-turned-artist-studios, record shops, antique stores, shabby-to-chic furniture makers, specialty food markets, sporting gear outfitters, comic emporiums, and locally owned shops selling handcrafted ceramics, jewelry, home furnishings, unique gifts, and toys.
And then there are the things that won’t fit into your bag, like a yoga class, a piece of reconditioned furniture, a custom tattoo, a large canvas painting, a spa treatment, a salsa dance class, a cast-iron sculpture, or a full-body massage. Treat yourself.
They say you can’t take it with you when you go. But we think you can probably get a lot of Hampshire County in your suitcase if you really try.
